Our client, a large property developer based in Andalucia, currently have an opening for Site Manager.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in the completion of a tourist development. You will be working with an existing team who have developed the project from the start and be site based.
Duties and responsibilities:
• responsible for the control of the construction process
• solving practical on site problems
• working to meet tight deadlines
• liaising with the Spanish Contractors and relevant trades
• maintaining a working environment which is conducive to high productivity along with high standards of build and safety.
Skills and experience:
• excellent construction knowledge
• good track record in construction management and bringing projects home on time
• joining mid build successful candidate will need to be able to get up to speed quickly
• establish effective working relationship with the existing team and contractors
• bring a wealth of experience
• drive the teams to meet the tight timescales of the now-enlarged project
• be committed and proactive
• a problem solver, focused and willing to do whatever is required to get the work completed on time whilst maintaining the specified high build standards.
Local knowledge and an understanding of Spanish language would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent salary dependent on experience.
