The older part is a mass of narrow cobbled streets winding their way up the hillside with wonderful views over orchards and the coast, and pretty flower pots in abundance everywhere. However it's only a short drive to the busy seaside town of Nerja which is set amidst cliffs overlooking rocky coves and many fine beaches.
